Central Pennsylvania Accommodations

There is no such thing as a “typical” Bed and Breakfast, and Laurel Ridge B&B in Warrior’s Mark PA is no exception. This is Kay and Wally’s home exclusively when there are no guests. Otherwise we share it with visitors who may be attending Penn State graduation or big 10 football games; with parents dropping off or picking up their daughters at Grier School & Allegheny Camp; plus local weddings and reunions in Warriors Mark & Tyrone. Then, there are the genealogists, the fishermen, the honeymooners, and others.

Laurel Ridge is not the renovated Victorian Mansion with claw foot tubs, and 12-foot ceilings. We are (for example): coffee or tea, OJ and fruit cup, Blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon, prepared by Wally in the kitchen portion of the Great Room where the guests eat and visit. Unless they are on the deck looking for wildlife (or Pilgrim the calico cat) or touring the water garden (the most popular feature, with it’s water falls, stream and pond) with Abby the chocolate lab who thinks everyone is here only to visit her.

There is nothing pretentious about Laurel Ridge. We are a home, with 4 extraordinarily comfortable rooms, ready to provide comfort, quiet and seclusion for those visiting this beautiful part of the world for whatever reason. BUT, no one ever leaves without saying, “We’ll be back”! … Can we ask for anything more?
