The mission of the foundation is to provide benefit to all wildlife in Pennsylvania. The foundation strives to enhance wildlife habitat, wildlife scientific research, wildlife education, land preservation, youth programs, and construct a wildlife education and research center. If you have a love of the outdoors, whether it be scenery, hunting, trapping, hiking, or wildlife viewing know that your participation with the Wildlife Foundation is an important way you can make a significant difference.

The Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra is a non-profit, local, community-based orchestra that performs both rare and well-known classical music. Maestro Douglas Meyer, the orchestra’s founding conductor, serves as Conductor and Music Director; the ensemble’s performers include members of Penn State’s School of Music Faculty along with professionals and pre-professional students from the University. The orchestra performs regularly in State College and has carried its concerts to Philipsburg, St Marys and to the Bedford Summer Music Festival.

In addition to its regular series of concerts PCO provides educational services to area elementary schools through performances and demonstrations by members of the orchestra. More than 2,000 young students have been impacted by these programs.

The Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania is a nonprofit organization that exists to serve students, artists and the art-loving public in Pennsylvania’s Centre County, the  adjacent counties, and beyond.  At present the Art Alliance has over three hundred members, all of whom are dedicated to recognizing, developing, and supporting visual arts. New members are always welcome.

The Art Alliance offers art classes for adults and children, summer art camps, exhibitions in our Art Center, and outreach exhibitions throughout the community.

The 30th Annual Second Mile Gold Tournament will be held at the Penn State Blue & White Golf Courses in University Park, PA. Sports greats, coaches, and celebrities from college and professional football, baseball, and basketball travel from across the country to participate in this grand event. Over the past twenty-nine years, meticulous planning and professional management have enabled the Golf Classic to evolve into one of the most prestigious three-day charity tournaments in Pennsylvania.

The Second Mile is a statewide non-profit organization for children needing additional support and who would benefit from positive human contact.  The Second Mile plans, organizes and offers activities and programs for children – and adults who work with them – to promote self-confidence as well as physical, academic and personal success.
