Don’t let your young child miss out on nature! Bring them out to this interactive program designed for children aged 3-5 years old. Activities will include a variety of programming including basic crafts, stories, short walks and nature games which could take place inside or outside. Dress for the weather! Join local eagle monitor and enthusiast, Cecil Houser, for an evening slide show presentation on America’s National Bird-the Bald Eagle. The slide show will cover eagle natural history in general but will also have a strong focus on the eagles that reside in north central Pennsylvania. Shaver’s Creek Environmental Learning Center will bring a few live critters to Bald Eagle State Park and discuss their interesting lives and adaptations.
